Nice Lady
There's a lady at the hospital down town who works in an office in the back, making appointments for people and so forth. I don't know what her name is--Charlotte, Charlene, or something like that. She's nice, so I'll call her Nice Lady. Anyway, I was at the hospital about a week ago for some tests and had to see Nice Lady about something. The door leading into the clinic in the back was locked, so the lady at the front desk called to have her open it. When she did, I asked her whatever it was I had to ask. She looked at me for a few seconds then started to laugh, "you're so funny!" I'm not sure how I was being funny, but she was cracking up. A few days later, I was there again for the test results and some allergy meds and was sent to her after seeing the nurse. When she saw me, she started laughing again. "You're so funny! You're a sight! You definitely made me laugh that day."I'm glad Nice Lady was able to laugh that day, but I'm confused. For the life of me, I can't figure out what I was doing that was so hilarious. Maybe she's a froot loop. Maybe there was something on my face, or maybe my fly was unzipped. I don't think so, but you know...maybe. It makes me wonder, do I come across as a goofy kind of person?
I hope not.
